✨Lemon Stars : Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher in Hot Water for Their Character Letter ✉️
Mila Kunis and Aston Kutcher wrote a character letter for their former co-star of “That ‘70s Show,’ Danny Masterson. Masterson has been accused of raping several women and is currently facing 30 years to life in prison based on these accusations. His co-stars were asked to write a character letter for him, something that they have claimed to do for various people before. News leaked about the letter and many survivors and fans of Kunis and Kutcher were not only offended but upset that the stars would stick up for such heinous crimes.
Mila Kunis is in especially hot water after news of this letter broke, as Thorn, Kunis, and Kutcher’s non-profit organization, is designed to help survivors of sexual assault.
Several news stories continue to emerge as more news comes to the surface about Kutcher, Kunis, and Masterson. The couple filmed and posted an ‘apology video’ on their Instagram where they stated that they wrote the character letter for the judge to read and no one else. They are saddened by the fact that their letter became public and wanted to apologize to any SA or SV survivor who might have felt targeted by that letter.

🍋 LEGO is releasing a Braille play set. The Lego Play With Braille set is similar to most LEGO sets, with 287 bricks, but these special bricks will have Braille writing on them for basic numbers and letters. Now, visually impaired children can incorporate these bricks into their already-made structures, or they can line them up in alphabetical or numerical order if they would like.
🍋 Spotify to start integrating free audiobooks for subscribers. Roughly a year ago, Spotify added several New York Times Best Sellers to their app. Users could pay an additional fee to listen to these titles. That might change, as Spotify reportedly offers premium subscribers up to 20 hours of free audiobooks. We’re sticking with Libby for our free audiobooks.
🍋 Drew Barrymore crosses the picket line. Actress and daytime TV host, Drew Barrymore, announced that she is resuming filming on her TV show. While some news channels have been given the green light to film during the SAG-AFTRA strike, Barrymore’s show crosses the picket line. Barrymore, who initially came out in support of the strike, took to Instagram to defend her decision.
🍋 United Auto Workers are still moving towards a strike. The ‘Big Three’ car companies in the U.S., General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler are discussing a new labor contract for over 146,000 workers. The current UAW (United Auto Workers) contract expires at 11:59 p.m., Thursday, September 14. If no agreements have been made by then, any or all of these companies can go on strike.
🍋 The United States is taking Google to court. Even though Google started out as a somewhat harmless search engine in 1998, the company now controls over 90% of the search engine market, rendering it a monopoly. The case against Google is set to be the biggest monopoly trial since Bill Gates’ Microsoft empire was challenged in 1998. The trial should last for 10 weeks.
