As a parent, you know that you need to set boundaries with your kids. But do you actually know how to create boundaries in a healthy and communicative way?

According to psychologist Dr. Becky Kennedy, many parents often mistake ‘boundaries’ with ‘requests.’

You might tell your child to stop doing something and think that you’re setting a boundary, but you’re requesting them to stop.

She further explained her reasoning in an Instagram Reel. In it, she explains that requests are one-time things when parents ask their kids to do something like turn off the TV.

She says, “They require the kid to do nothing. Now, we don’t have a situation where the kids can’t listen. Because I am embodying my appropriate parental authority.”

Amidst controversy and questionable decisions, SAG actress, Drew Barrymore, has paused production on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show.’

The SAG actress announced her decision to begin filming her talk show again on September 10. After countless organizations, actors, crew members, and even SAG-AFTRA spoke out against the star’s selfish decision, Barrymore has made the executive decision to pause her show’s recording until the strike is over.

Drew Barrymore came out with a statement on her Instagram on Sunday morning. In it, she claims that she has heard everyone’s concerns and complaints about the continuation of her TV show.

She continues to say that she has “no words to express my deepest apologies to anyone I have hurt,” and sums up her statement by saying, “I truly hope for a resolution for the entire industry very soon.”

This PR statement came less than 24 hours after Barrymore’s viral apology video became scrutinized by millions of fans and viewers. The original video has since been deleted. Questions of whether or not the star crossed the picket line and what that means for her future on the silver screen remain.

Kutcher, star of “That ‘70s Show” announced that he is stepping down from Thorn, the anti-sexual abuse organization which he co-founded in the wake of all the Danny Masterson drama. Kutcher and Kunis were in hot water after the two wrote a character witness statement for Masterson in the wake of his sexual abuse drama.

🐻 🏰 Sections of Disney World’s Magic Kingdom closed down Monday, as a bear was sighted in the park. Guests saw a black bear in Disney’s Frontierland on Monday afternoon, causing a large part of the park to be shut down and roped off. Thankfully, The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission safely came and rescued the adult female bear, who was camped out in a tree. We’d like to believe she just wanted to see the Country Bear Jamboree before it got refurbished.
