How to Motherhood 🚸

Now that we’re back in the thick of the school year, you might have to face some all-too-familiar ✏️ back-to-school blues. Even though some of us wish that we could go back to our school years, it’s natural for our kiddos to feel a little less than enthusiastic about getting back into the classroom. Here are a few tips and tricks for facing these blues.

💡🌟We have pointed out some important tips for you:

 Validation

Make sure your child feels validated and heard when they’re sharing their fears and feelings with you. Create a safe space for them to share their thoughts.

 Bad Feelings are ok

Don’t let negative feelings scare you or your kid. Research shows that working through bad feelings at a young age increases a child’s emotional intelligence and teaches them how to cope with real-world issues.

 Involving Kids in solving problems

Work together to find solutions. Don’t call the teacher behind their back or talk to your partner behind closed doors. Involve your kid in the process of working through hard things.

Have a plan for bad days

Whether that’s getting them ice cream after school or working with your child and their teacher to find a safe place at school.
